Who is leading the New Coach CoP?
Dr. Jim Robey, MCC, CPCC, CPQC, CMC

Mentor Coach | Leadership Partner | Advocate for Coaches in Service
Dr. Jim Robey is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with over 21 years of experience empowering coaches and leaders across government, business, and faith-based sectors. Jim, a retired United Methodist minister, brings a compassionate presence, deep listening, and a strong sense of purpose to every coaching relationship.
Trained by the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), Jim is passionate about mentoring coaches, particularly those early in their journey. His work includes providing leadership coaching for coaches and leaders.
Jim's signature pro bono course, Coaching in Chaotic Times, has been offered to numerous audiences and reflects his commitment to supporting coaches navigating uncertainty and complexity.
As part of his reimagined practice—Jim Robey Coaching LLC—he offers spaces like the Wednesday Wisdom Hour and The Complete Coach Cohort to inspire and equip coaches through community, reflection, and practical tools.
Jim now lives near Mineral Bluff in the North Georgia mountains with his wife, Betty, and their 11-year-old grandson, William. He continues to serve the coaching community with the heart of a mentor and the wisdom of a seasoned practitioner.
